Drupal 8 has a new configuration management system. This session will cover how to use from an coding perspective and will be heavy on code samples! What I'll be covering:
 
  • an architectural overview of the system
  • the Config API
  • Chickens and eggs - settings(), state() and config()
  • Config Entities… unfortunately I will not be providing the required beer!
  • Tips for Drupal developers on how to upgrade their modules
  • Configuration overrides, multilingual and schema
